Monument to the victims of World War I and II. / 2023
The project, spanning several years, aims to bring back the original monument to the city Orlová. Based on five photographs, a one-third scale plaster model was created. Using a reproduction technique called a pantograph, it was manually carved and, with the help of heavy machinery, restored to its original location.
The plaster model created by Martin Chmelař for this nearly six-meter, thirty-tonne piece is on display at the Teschen Museum.
