Manufacturing Process
The urns are carefully handcrafted from the start, using traditional clay modeling techniques. The result is a retouched and patinated cast of a laminated mixture enriched with glass fabric, that gives the entire piece incredible strength and a lightweight feel, approximately 2.5 kg.
Another option is an urn made of bronze. This material, which resists weather conditions and time, gives this “outdoor version” high stability and exceptional durability. However, this option is more time-consuming and costly due to the complexity of the manufacturing process.
The urn has a bottom opening with a 5 cm diameter lid, designed for transferring the ashes into the urn. On this lid, there is a copper plate engraved with the name of the deceased and the date of their birth and death. The ashes are placed in the urn in a protective velvet bag.
Despite all functional and technical measures, our urns remain individual works of art that preserve their artistic and aesthetic value. This is further emphasized by the original signature, located on the edge of each produced piece.
